[exit void] week 10, day 6 event post
Oct. 7th, 2013 05:32 pmAll Chizuru can think is that she deserves this.
She deserves this, but they don't - not the innocents who have been locked up and tormented... it's her fault. Not theirs. Heisuke doesn't deserve this either. The ruby had been her idea - he'd just been trying to help - just been trying to keep her from doing anything extraordinarily dumb - but that hadn't worked and now here they are, stuck here, and not just them but others too and it's all her fault, she'll admit it...
But her voice is hoarse from screaming and crying, from begging COMPASS to just stop and let the others go free, and now she can't even force out the words.
She wonders how much longer this will go on for. How much longer will she have to hear their screams... see them in pain...
She whimpers and brings her hands up to clutch at her head, to cover her ears, to try and block it out. But she can't. She keeps hearing screams - even she doesn't know if they're real or not anymore, but they sound real, and she can't take it, she just can't...
I'm sorry, she wants to say. I'm so sorry.
